This day in Urla is ideal for anyone who enjoys fine wine, design and art. It begins with a short visit to Arkas Art Urla, with a beautiful collection of European art, historic armour and Anatolian textiles, a lovely introduction to Urla's cultural scene.
You then visit two of the boutique wineries that Urla and its surroundings are known for. Each tasting celebrates the place, sustainability and craftsmanship, and at HUS and Cakir the wines speak for themselves, with hosts who share the art of winemaking.
The day ends at the ancient city of Klazomenai, where the history of olive oil sits alongside the region's long wine culture. It is a refined, personal shore excursion for travellers who want more than ordinary sightseeing.

Urla Wine & Art Tour
Your guide meets you at Kusadasi Port for the 2-hour drive to Urla.
The first stop is Arkas Art Urla, a refined art space showing selected works from the Arkas Collection. Housed in an award-winning stone building, it displays European paintings, sculpture, armour, tapestries and Anatolian carpets, an inspiring introduction to Urla's cultural depth.
Your first wine experience is at HUS Winery, a family-run boutique winery where sustainability and a strong sense of place guide every step. A guided tasting of five wines and a visit to the cellar show you the winery's distinctive approach.
Next is Cakir Winery, where you begin with a tasting of six wines and a carefully chosen cheese platter. Afterwards you visit the vineyard and cellar to learn how their wines are made, including ageing in French oak barrels and the use of local grapes such as Bornova Misketi and Bogazkere.
On the way back you stop at Klazomenai, one of the oldest olive oil production centres of the ancient world, for a short but fascinating look at the region's agricultural and trading history.
Finally you drive back to Kusadasi and are taken to the port, at the end of a day that brings together art, wine, history and the unique spirit of Urla.
