Private Wine Tasting Tour from Kusadasi Shore
Your guide meets you at Kusadasi Port for the 1.5-hour drive to the ancient city of Teos, sharing a short introduction to Turkish wine on the way.
The earliest settlements at Teos date back to 1000 BC, and the city is home to the Temple of Dionysus, dedicated to the Greek god of wine, son of Zeus and an important figure in mythology.
Your first wine stop is MMG Winery, where you taste four blends. All of MMG's grapes are harvested at night, which protects their aroma and delays fermentation before pressing.
Your second stop is Ayda Winery, where you can relax among vineyards with high mountains all around. You enjoy a guided tasting of six blends paired with a cheese platter, led by a local winemaker who explains the winemaking process. Ayda's whites are made from Sauvignon Blanc and Narince, and its reds from Cabernet Sauvignon, Foca Karasi, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Syrah.
Before a late lunch you visit the vineyard and winery, and then enjoy lunch with a wine-paired menu. Afterwards you drive back to the port.
