7 Days Private Wine Tasting Tour In Turkey
This private 7-day journey combines Turkey's best vineyards with its natural wonders and ancient history.
It starts with a glass at Barbare Vineyards in Tekirdag, overlooking the Sea of Marmara, followed by the hidden treasures of Istanbul's Old City.
A short flight takes you to Cappadocia, where you taste excellent wines at Turasan Winery and explore fairy-chimney valleys, rock-cut churches and the pottery workshops of Avanos.
On the Aegean coast you pair beautiful countryside views with carefully blended wines at MMG and Ayda wineries, and an expert guide walks you through the remarkable ruins of Ephesus.
The journey ends in Pamukkale and Hierapolis, with their unique thermal terraces and Roman remains, and a final toast at Lermonos Winery. Every day balances wine, food and culture, making this the ideal trip for wine and history lovers.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Istanbul Tekirdag Wine Tasting
Your guide meets you in your hotel lobby for the 2.5-hour drive to Barbare Vineyards in Tekirdag. On the way, your guide gives you a short introduction to Turkish wine.
Set on a small hill above the Sea of Marmara, Barbare grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre using organic and sustainable methods.
You visit the vineyard and winery and enjoy a guided tasting of six blends paired with a cheese platter. The tasting is led by a local winemaker, who explains the wines and how they are made.
In the afternoon you drive back to Istanbul.
Day 2 - Istanbul Old City Tour
Your guide meets you in the lobby for a full-day Old City tour. You will visit:
- Hagia Sophia
- Topkapi Palace
- Blue Mosque
- Hippodrome
- Grand Bazaar
At the end of the tour you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Our representative meets you on arrival and takes you to your hotel in Cappadocia.
Day 3 - Cappadocia Wine Tasting
Your guide meets you at your hotel and you set off for Turasan Winery.
You begin with a guided walk through the vineyard and learn about the region's winemaking traditions, followed by a tasting of three distinct blends, each paired with a selection of gourmet snacks.
After the tasting you are transferred back to your hotel.
Day 4 - Cappadocia Tour
Your guide meets you in the lobby for a full-day Cappadocia tour. You will visit:
- Uchisar Castle
- Goreme Open Air Museum
- Avanos town and its pottery workshops
- Valley of Monks (Pasabag)
- Devrent Valley
At the end of the tour you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir. Our representative meets you at Izmir Airport and takes you to your hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 5 - Izmir Wine Tasting
Your guide meets you at your hotel for the 1.5-hour drive to the ancient city of Teos. The earliest settlements here date back to 1000 BC, and the city is home to the Temple of Dionysus, dedicated to the Greek god of wine and son of Zeus.
Your first wine stop is MMG Winery, where you taste four blends. All of MMG's grapes are harvested at night, which protects their aroma and delays fermentation before pressing.
Your second stop is Ayda Winery, set among vineyards with high mountains all around. You enjoy a guided tasting of six blends paired with a cheese platter, led by a local winemaker. Ayda's whites are made from Sauvignon Blanc and Narince, and its reds from Cabernet Sauvignon, Foca Karasi, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Syrah.
After visiting the vineyard and winery, you drive back to your hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 6 - Ephesus Tour
Your guide meets you in the lobby for a full-day Ephesus tour. You will visit:
- Great Theater
- Celsus Library
- Temple of Hadrian
- Harbor Street
- Terrace Houses
- House of the Virgin Mary
- Isa Bey Mosque
At the end of the tour you are transferred back to your hotel.
Day 7 - Pamukkale Wine Tasting and Back to Istanbul
Your guide meets you in the lobby and you set off for Pamukkale. In the ancient city of Hierapolis you will visit:

- Roman Baths
- Domitian Gate
- Latrina
- Frontinus Street
- Agora
- Byzantium Gate
- Triton Fountain
- Cathedral
- Temple of Apollo
- Plutonium
- Theater
Your week of wine ends with one last tasting at Lermonos Winery, part of the Cal Vineyard Route, where you enjoy a vineyard tour and tasting.
You are then transferred to Denizli Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Our representative meets you on arrival and takes you to your hotel.
