Spend a full private day tasting wine in Kirklareli and Tekirdag, two of Turkey's best-known wine regions.
The trip starts with a drive of about two and a half hours to Arcadia Vineyards, known for award-winning, estate-grown, minimal-intervention wines such as Sauvignon Gris and Narince, as well as its distinctive blends.
After a guided tasting of four blends, you continue to the Tekirdag coast to visit Barbare Vineyards, known for organic wines from classic grape varieties and breathtaking views over the Sea of Marmara.
It is a perfect day out for wine lovers. At Barbare you taste six blends and walk through the vineyard while a local winemaker explains everything, followed by a light lunch with wine. Barbare is especially known for its Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah and blends.

Turkish Wine Tasting Tour from Istanbul with Local Tastings
Your guide meets you in your hotel lobby, and you set off on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Kirklareli. On the way your guide gives you a short introduction to Turkish wine.
Your first stop is Arcadia Vineyards, for a vineyard visit and a tasting of four blends. Arcadia is known for its minimal-intervention approach, making elegant wines from ten grape varieties grown on its own estate, including rare whites such as Sauvignon Gris and Narince.
You then continue to Tekirdag, whose mild, sea-influenced climate is ideal for grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
At Barbare Vineyards you tour the vineyard and winery and learn about their production methods. Set on a small hill above the Sea of Marmara, Barbare grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre using organic and sustainable methods.
You enjoy a guided tasting of six blends paired with a cheese platter, led by a local winemaker who explains the wines and how they are made, followed by a late lunch with local wines at the vineyard.
After lunch you drive back to Istanbul and are taken to your hotel.
