Your guide picks you up from your hotel lobby, and the first stop is Sultanahmet Square.

The first mosque you see is the breathtaking Blue Mosque. Its shining domes and spacious courtyards set a peaceful mood and introduce you to the city's spiritual heritage.

Next is the iconic Hagia Sophia. Once a church, later a mosque and today an active mosque again, it is a unique blend of Byzantine and Ottoman heritage. You explore its great dome, historic mosaics and spiritual atmosphere.

Right next door is the Basilica Cistern, where you walk among softly lit columns in the calm of Istanbul's ancient underground water system.

If you like, you can stop for lunch after the cistern. Your guide will recommend the best restaurants for your taste.

You then head to the Grand Bazaar and try the centuries-old art of bargaining. You also have the chance to visit a carpet workshop and see leather goods and Ottoman tiles, and to find souvenirs that reflect Istanbul's culture.

(Optional) You can finish the day with a helicopter flight over the Historic Peninsula, the aqueducts, the Bosphorus, Ottoman palaces, fortresses, modern Istanbul and more. *The flight lasts 30 minutes. It is a unique way to see all of Istanbul's layers of beauty in one breathtaking panorama.

The first stop is the Spice Bazaar, unforgettable for its history and colourful stalls, where you can explore local flavours and delicacies.

From the bazaar you stroll around Eminonu Square, on the waterfront of the famous Golden Horn, and feel the daily rhythm of Istanbul.

Then you board a private luxury yacht for a 2-hour cruise on the Bosphorus, where luxury and history come together. As you sail, you see a perfect mix of historic Ottoman architecture and the modern city, and the bridges linking two continents, the symbols of Istanbul.

Back on land, you can have lunch at one of the beautiful restaurants along the Bosphorus.

After lunch you return to the Old City to visit Topkapi Palace. You walk through the rooms and courtyards of the Ottoman sultans while your private guide shares their lesser-known stories.

At the end of the tour your private driver takes you back to your hotel.
