Your private guide picks you up from your hotel at 8:00 am for the drive to Gallipoli and the battlefields of the First World War. The tour is by private van, and your guide tells you about the war on the way.

The day includes:

• Chunuk Bair (the main New Zealand memorial)

After the tour your guide drops you off at your hotel. Overnight in Eceabat.

At 9:00 am your private guide and driver pick you up for a tour of Troy, its ancient cities and its legends. You will visit:

• The sacrificial altars
• The 3,700-year-old city walls
• The houses of Troy I
• The Bouleuterion (Senate Building)
• The Odeon (Concert Hall)
• Remains of the successive cities from Troy I to Troy IX

At the end of the tour you are driven back to your hotel in Istanbul.
